Job description
Thee Byte is looking for a Software Developer on a part-time, as-needed basis up to 20 hours per week. This role supports the development, testing, and delivery of software products, automation tools, and business systems used to solve real operational problems. You will help turn ideas into dependable tools by working on web applications, internal systems, automation workflows, AI-assisted processes, integrations, and practical product features. The work is hands-on and product-focused, with opportunities to see the real-world impact of what you build.
Requirements
Comfort with software development, programming, debugging, and practical problem solving. Interest in web applications, business software, automation, AI tools, CAD/CAM, manufacturing systems, or digital workflows. Reliability, curiosity, clear communication, and willingness to learn. Ability to work on small scoped tasks and improve existing systems. Candidates do not need to know every system before joining; training, internal tools, and automated workflows are provided.
